Marcus McNeill may be nearing end of hold out

Marcus McNeill may not be as dedicated to holding out as teammate Vincent Jackson, according to ESPN’s Bill Williamson.

Our View: McNeill’s hold-out situation is nothing new, but while Jackson seems set on staying stubborn, McNeill may be more inclined to return. The Chargers are reportedly looking to sign the left tackle to a long-term deal, and Williamson has heard that he wants to play for San Diego this season. This would certainly be great news for Philip Rivers and rookie running back Ryan Mathews. Mathews will need all the help he can get up front if he wants to resuscitate the Chargers ground game, and McNeill is the most talented lineman on the team.
