According to Nick Wright of 610 Sports in Kansas City, Dexter McCluster (ankle) not only will play Sunday but will also start at split end against the Broncos.
Wright was the first to nail down McCluster’s high ankle sprain five weeks ago, so he appears to have a go-to source close to the rookie. McCluster practiced fully all week and has been taken off the injury report. Verran Tucker has averaged just one catch per game as the split end while McCluster was sidelined. It’s an upgrade for Matt Cassel.
