McFadden piles up 209 yards, 3 TDs in defeat
Darren McFadden rumbled for 123 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries and added 86 more yards and another touchdown on three catches as the Raiders fell 38-31 to the Jaguars in Week 14.
Amid "committee" concern in the Raiders’ backfield, McFadden controlled the workload by a touches ratio of 19:5 over Michael Bush. Oakland’s coaching staff hasn’t been inclined to use a two-back system all year, so it’s not surprising that McFadden has resurfaced as the clear-cut lead back. A fourth-quarter 37-yard touchdown run was vintage 2010 McFadden, as he busted about six tackles and stiff-armed Jaguars DB Don Carey en route to the end zone. Expect a monster finish from a white-hot running back against the Broncos and Colts in Weeks 15-16.
