Right knee injury could end Nate Allen’s year
Eagles rookie FS Nate Allen had to be carted off the field late in the second quarter of Sunday’s Week 15 game against the Giants after suffering a right knee injury.
Multiple sources are reporting that the injury is a torn patellar tendon. Beat writer Jeff McLane is hearing that it could be season ending. Allen’s feet slipped out from under him when he went to make a tackle, and he appeared to hyperextend his knee. Kurt Coleman should get the nod heading forward.
