Favre still not cleared to return
According to Tom Pelissero, Brett Favre has still not passed his initial concussion tests.
Our View: He’s still doubtful for Tuesday’s game against the Eagles, though no one can be certain of his status until the game actually kicks off. He’s been given an extra day due to weather concerns two weeks in a row, and he recovered from being listed as out in time to start against the Bears Week 15. Of course, he won’t be allowed to famously change his mind if he can’t pass the post-concussion tests on time, and his absence will hurt the values of Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin. Rookie Joe Webb should get the start under center, and those looking to play him as a WR in Yahoo leagues should continue to monitor Favre’s status.
