Rams hope TE Hoomanawanui can return this week
According to the team’s Twitter page, the Rams are hoping rookie tight end Michael Hoomanawanui (ankle) can return this week.
Our View: Hoomanawanui’s high ankle sprain kept him from playing against San Francisco, though we believe he’ll do everything possible to make it back Week 17. If the Rams beat the Seahawks in Seattle, they’ll represent the NFC West in the playoffs. Hoomanawanui’s missed four straight games, but he did grab three TD passes in five games before that.
