Brees played through sprained MCL
Drew Brees played through a low-grade MCL sprain this season, according to Mike Triplett of the Times-Picayune.
Our View: The injury is minor, but it’s easy to wonder just how much it affected Brees this season. He’ll be 100 percent for summer camps. Sadly, this news will likely throw more fuel on the fire raging around Jay Cutler, who reportedly suffered a more serious MCL sprain against the Bears on Sunday and did not finish the game.
