Rookie receiver David Nelson snagged three passes for 61 yards and a score in Buffalo’s 17-14 win over the Dolphins.
Our View: Nelson has great size for the red zone at 6-foot-5, and that sets him apart from most of Buffalo’s receivers. He’s now scored in three straight games, and he’s racked up 14 catches over his past four. He’s a nice deep sleeper for next season.

David Nelson caught three passes for 61 yards and a touchdown in the Bills’ Week 15 win over the Dolphins.
Donald Jones got the start opposite Steve Johnson, but Nelson appeared to play just as many snaps. An undrafted rookie who was considered an underachiever at Florida, Nelson has flashed some playmaking ability as a slot receiver this season. His progress is worth monitoring in dynasty fantasy leagues.

Steve Johnson finally atoned for his critical Week 12 drop on Sunday, hauling in six catches for 69 yards and a score in Buffalo’s 17-14 win over the Dolphins.
Our View: The score was his 10th of the season, but his first since his famous Week 12 drop. Now back in the saddle, however, he should finish strong against the Patriots and Jets.

Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 16-of-26 passes for 223 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday, leading the Bills to a narrow 17-14 win over the Dolphins.
Our View: He also threw an interception, but it was of little matter for the Bills, who eked out their fourth win. Although a win is nice, it does mean the Bills are one game further away from being able to land Andrew Luck next spring.

Bills Week 15 inactives: QB Levi Brown, DT John McCargo, RB Jehuu Caulcrick, TE Mike Caussen, OT Colin Brown, C Geoff Hangartner, DT Kellen Heard, OT Erik Pears
Our View: Not a notable name on the list for a Bills team that is fading in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes. It should be a long day for Ryan Fitzpatrick and company as they take on the Dolphins’ sixth ranked pass defense.

According to the Bills website, cornerback Terrence McGee’s (knee) status for Week 15 is still uncertain.
Our View: Coach Chan gailey said he looked “a lot better” in practice this week, but that’s certainly no guarantee he’ll start. Brandon Marshall’s value remains unchanged for now, though McGee will likely see the field even if it’s not on the first play of the game.

Omar Kelly tweets that coach Chan Gailey has been disappointed with the slow development of rookie C.J. Spiller. “C.J. did some really good things in preseason,” said Gailey. “But we all know the level of intensity goes up a notch when it’s not preseason. C.J. wasn’t able to adjust enough.”
Our View: With Fred Jackson playing fairly well, the Bills haven’t had to test Spiller much as a rookie, but it doesn’t sound like he’s earned much work as it is. His 4.1 yards per carry isn’t bad, and he has drawn 15 carries in his last two outings, but for those fantasy players that drafted him, he’s clearly been a disappointment.

Bills placed Lee Evans (ankle) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Evans sustained a multi-week ankle injury — likely a high ankle sprain — in Week 14. He’s currently sitting at 43rd in wide receiver fantasy points, which counts as the worst finish of a career that hasn’t lived up to its potential. Bypassed by Stevie Johnson as the Bills’ No. 1 receiver this year, Evans’ Dynasty league value has taken a severe blow. The Bills have a tough decision to make this offseason, with Evans due a $5.4 million salary in addition to a $3 million roster bonus.

Lee Evans (ankle) will miss the next two games and could be placed on injured reserve, according to the Buffalo News.
Our View: Evans sprained his ankle in the first half of Sunday’s win over Cleveland and did not return. If you own the former Wisconsin Badger wideout, go ahead and drop him. Evans has 37 receptions for 578 yards and four touchdowns this season.
