Joey Bunch of the Denver Post reports that Kevin Alexander was arrested on Monday after assaulting his girlfriend.
Our View: The Broncos say there is no correlation between his arrest and release from the team, but it’s easy to wonder if the crime played a role. The rookie saw limited action in eight games this season, registering four tackles.

According to the Denver Post, Knowshon Moreno (ribs) is considered questionable for Week 16.
Our View: The Broncos take on the Houston’s dead-last defense, and they’ll be starting rookie Tim Tebow for only the second time, so Moreno would certainly be helpful. This kind of injury carries varying recovery times, and Lance Ball will play if Moreno can’t, but we’re tentatively expecting him to suit up Sunday.

Knowshon Moreno (ribs) is considered questionable for Week 16.
Interim coach Eric Studesville did not really provide an update on Moreno’s status, but rib injuries can vary greatly. LeSean McCoy was able to play one week after cracking a rib earlier this season, while Michael Vick missed multiple weeks. Monitor Moreno’s practice reports starting Wednesday, while adding backup Lance Ball. The Broncos have a dream matchup with the Texans on Sunday.

According to FOX Sports, the Bucs have signed tight end Nathan Overbay.
Our View: Overbay’s been with three teams this season, most recently the Broncos. He’ll be nothing more than a depth player behind Kellen Winslow and John Gilmore.

Tim Tebow will start against the Texans Week 16 after coach Eric Studesville ruled Kyle Orton (ribs, arm) out Monday.
Our View: The rookie made his first career start against Oakland yesterday, and he was better than some expected. He racked up 138 passing yards, 78 rushing yards and two TD without turning it over, and that was in Oakland. He’ll get the Texans awful defense in Denver this time around, and you could do worse at QB2 if you’re willing to take the risk.

Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post reports that interim coach Eric Studesville has ruled Kyle Orton (ribs, arm) out for Week 16.
Our View: That didn’t take long. Orton missed his first game of the season last week, leading to rookie Tim Tebow’s debut as a starter. Tebow didn’t lead Denver to a win, but he provided a powerful spark for the offense early, ripping off a 40-yard TD run before pinpointing a 33-yard TD pass. He’ll get the nod against a porous Houston defense, and you could probably do a lot worse at QB2 if you’re the gambling type.

Knowshon Moreno (ribs) was “a little sore” after receiving treatment Monday, according to Lindsay Jones.
Our View: Coach Eric Studesville said he’ll be evaluated further. Moreno was forced from Sunday’s loss with an apparent ribs injury in the first half. Still, it’s hard to believe he’ll sit if he can go at all considering the Broncos will want to surround rookie QB Tim Tebow with as strong a running game as possible if he starts a second straight game.

Our View: A special teams player, he had four tackles in eight games this season. Former Patriot Chevis Jackson has taken his place on the roster.

The Broncos have claimed cornerback Chevis Jackson off of waivers from the New England Patriots, according to the team’s official Twitter feed.
Our View: He was released by the Pats on Saturday. In two games this season, he was held off the stat-sheet. If he’s active in Week 16, it will be as a special teamer.

The injury that forced Knowshon Moreno from the Broncos loss to the Raiders on Sunday is believed to be to his ribs, according to the Denver Post.
Our View: He carried the ball just four times for five yards before leaving the game. His status will be updated throughout the week, but for now consider him doubtful for next Sunday against the Texans.
