Antonio Gates (feet) is officially listed as doubtful for Thursday night’s game against San Francisco.
Patrick Crayton is the latest Charger to be ruled out for Thursday’s contest against the Niners. He’s still recovering from his wrist injury.
Our View: Things continue to shape up well for a game-breaking performance from Vincent Jackson. Antonio Gates is also out and Malcom Floyd is questionable. Still, the Chargers have enough weapons that they’ll still be a considerable favorite against the 49ers.
Legedu Naanee appears to be a full go after practicing fully on both Tuesday and Wednesday this week, according to Adam Schefter. He had been recovering from a sore hamstring.
Our View: Naanee should still be considered a desperation starter. Vincent Jackson (and Darren Sproles) sounds like the only fully healthy pass-catcher for the Chargers tomorrow night, making him a good-looking WR3 for Week 15.
Adam Schefter tweets that Malcom Floyd has been listed as questionable for Thursday’s game against the 49ers. He did not practice on Wednesday and was limited on Tuesday due to his sore hamstring.
Our View: Floyd looks like a risky play at best this weekend and if he misses the game, Vincent Jackson may finally produce. With Gates also absent from Thursday’s game, Philip Rivers may be a bit hamstrung.
Kevin Acee of the San Diego Tribune tweets that Antonio Gates is officially listed as doubtful for Thursday’s game against the 49ers. He did not participate in practice on Wednesday due to his aching feet.
Our View: This isn’t a huge surprise, but fantasy owners will have to find a substitute for Gates yet again. Randy McMichael, his backup, is an adequate fill-in.
Steve Wyche of NFL Network reports that Antonio Gates (feet) is unlikely to play tomorrow night when the Chargers host the 49ers.
Our View: Thankfully, the Chargers open Week 15, so Gates owners will have plenty of time to get him out of their lineup if he’s unable to go. The stud tight end is likely to be a game-time decision.

NFL.com’s Steve Wyche reports that Antonio Gates (foot) is unlikely to play Thursday.
He’s unlikely to practice at all during the short week but might try to test out his foot in pre-game warmups. If he does end up playing, it will go right down to the wire. Those counting on Gates in the fantasy playoffs need to go ahead and prepare a backup plan.
Vincent Jackson is not listed on the Chargers’ Week 15 injury report.
Jackson looked healthy in last week’s game, and this news confirms that he’ll be fine for Thursday’s game against the 49ers. He was targeted just three times against the Chiefs. We can expect that number to rise now that he’s getting back to full health, but V-Jax is still going to be a high-risk/high-reward WR3 option this week.
